Huan-Ching Chou

Pianist Huan Ching Chou is studying at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Boston, U.S.A. He was born in Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) and started playing piano at age 4. He has studied with Ivy Xu at the Shenzhen Kong Xiang Dong Art Center, and with Dan Su at the Shenzhen Ming Shi Hui Piano Art center. He is currently working under the guidance of Victor Cayres at New England Conservatory Preparatory School, an institution affiliated with Walnut Hill School.

Huan Ching has won numerous awards at the 4th and 5th Shenzhen China Piano Competitions, the 3rd Macau Asia Youth Piano Competition, the 5th GOCAA Youth Pianist Final Competition, the 18th and 20th Hong Kong Asia Piano Open Competitions, and the Singapore International Youth Piano Competition, among others.

Yinghan Wang

Yinghan Wang, has been learning piano since the age of 5, and has shown extraordinary talent since childhood. She was admitted to the Middle School attached to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music at age 9. In 2018, she moved to the United States to study with concert pianist and Professor Ching-Yun Hu in Philadelphia, USA. Hannah has won many domestic and international piano competitions, including top prizes at the 2020 Philadelphia International Piano Competition, 2019 American Steinway Piano Competition, and 2019 American Harkord Chopin International Piano Competition, Singapore International Piano Competition (junior division), amongst others. She debuted with the Orchestra of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, playing a Mozart Concerto in 2017. In 2019, she held her first solo concert in Philadelphia, performing a complete set of Chopin etudes. She has been invited as a guest artist at Philadelphia’s WRTI Classical Radio, performing works by Beethoven and Prokofiev.
